Bridal hair and updos around Fürstenzell and Passau
Bridal and ball hair are among my specialities. Whether pinned up, half-up with curls or worn down, together we will find the style that suits you, your dress and your day. Here I answer the questions brides ask me most often.

So your hair lasts the whole day
An updo should not just look beautiful. It also has to last through the ceremony, the photos and the dancing into the night. That takes technique and experience, which I bring as a master hairdresser and from my work as a stylist on photo shoots.
My salon is in Fürstenzell, just a few kilometres from Passau and easy to reach from Neuhaus am Inn, Ruhstorf an der Rott and Ortenburg. If you like, I can also do your make-up, so everything comes from one pair of hands.

Your path to your bridal hairstyle
A rough plan to help you find your way. Every wedding is different, so we adapt it to your day. If your date is already close, get in touch anyway: a lot is possible at short notice.
About three months before
Get in touch so we can secure your date. Collect pictures of hairstyles you love, and feel free to add some you definitely don’t want. If you’re planning a new colour or a new cut, now is the right time.
Hair trial, about six to eight weeks before
We try out your hairstyle. Bring your hair accessories, your veil and a photo of your dress. Come with your hair just as it will be on the wedding day.
The last few days
It’s best to schedule a colour refresh a few days before the wedding. When you should wash your hair for the last time is something we’ll discuss at the trial, because it’s different for every head of hair.
The big day
Allow enough time for your hair and wear a top that buttons up at the front, so nothing has to be pulled over the finished hairstyle.

At the hair trial, we check whether the hairstyle suits your dress, your face and your accessories. And whether it feels good when you sit, dance and move your head. Take photos from the front, the side and the back. That way you can look at the result with a little distance.
Anything that isn’t quite right yet, we’ll change calmly. On the wedding day, we’ll both know exactly what to do.

Common questions about bridal hair and updos
When should I book my bridal hair?
Ideally as soon as you have a date, as Saturdays in the wedding season fill up quickly. But it is worth getting in touch at short notice too: spontaneous appointments are possible.
Can I send you a picture of the hairstyle I want?
Absolutely. Send me your dream hairstyle and a photo of your hair by WhatsApp to 0049 151 10480215. Then I can tell you beforehand what will work well, and we do not start from scratch at the trial session.
What should I bring to the hair trial?
Hair accessories, a veil or flowers (ask your florist for a sample piece), a photo of your dress and pictures of hairstyles you like.
Down, half-up or updo?
That comes down to your dress, your hair length and your personal style. Half-up looks romantic and natural, while an updo holds up well even through a long day. At the trial, we’ll find out what suits you.
Do you also do ball hairstyles?
Gladly. I plan ball and occasion hairstyles with you just as calmly.
How long does my hair need to be for an updo?
Updos work best on medium to long hair. A lot is often possible with shorter hair too, and extensions can add length for the day. A photo is all I need to tell you what will work.
Does an updo work with fine hair?
Yes. Fine hair needs a little more grip, which we can achieve with curls and the right products, for example. Extensions can also be worked in for extra fullness.
Will an updo really last all day?
Built properly, it will last from the ceremony to the last dance. At the trial session we test how it holds when you move. If your hair is long and thick, it is best to wear the trial style for a full day.
Do you do bridal make-up too?
Yes. You can get your hair, styling and make-up from me all in one go, and we can try everything out together at the trial session.
