Hair and make-up from one person
Hair and make-up only really work together. When I do both, I match colours, shine and style, and we save time and travel on the morning of the wedding. My experience comes from the salon and from my work as a stylist on photo shoots.
Natural does not mean invisible. Good bridal make-up makes you look like yourself on a very good day, in photos too and after many hours. How we plan your hairstyle is explained in my guide to bridal hair.
Timeline
Your path to bridal make-up
My suggestion for the weeks before the wedding. If it is already close, get in touch anyway, because a lot is possible at short notice too.
First conversation
Tell me about your dress, your style and the celebration. Pictures of looks you like help a lot, and pictures of ones you definitely do not want help too.
Trial make-up
Ideally together with the trial updo, about six to eight weeks before the wedding. We try out what suits you, and you take photos in daylight and with flash.
The last few weeks
Do not try new skincare products or facial treatments shortly before the wedding. Pluck or tint your eyebrows a few days beforehand so that nothing is still red.
The big day
Come with clean, well-moisturised skin and wear a top that buttons open. Pack your lipstick and a little powder for touch-ups during the day.
Staying power
So that your make-up lasts until the last dance
A wedding is a long day. There are hugs, tears, sunshine and dancing. That is why I build bridal make-up to last: with well-prepared skin, long-wearing products and waterproof mascara in case the tears come.
In photos, too much shine quickly looks greasy and too little colour looks pale. During the trial make-up we therefore look at photos with and without flash and find the right balance.

Do I need a trial make-up?
I recommend it. That way we both know exactly what to do on the wedding day, and there are no surprises.
How natural can bridal make-up be?
As natural as you like. Many brides want subtle make-up that still works in photos. That is what the trial make-up is for.
Can I also book make-up for a ball or a photo shoot?
Yes, of course. Then too, I match your make-up and hairstyle to each other.
